STONE COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - It’s now been nearly three weeks since a Stone County man was last seen and authorities are still asking for anyone with information about the investigation to come forward.

Robert Hariel, who is known to his friends and family by the name Bruce, has been missing since Jan. 11, say investigators. The 37-year-old is a resident of Perkinston.

This week, Stone County investigators worked closely with authorities in Perry County after receiving information that Hariel could be in that area. Unfortunately, no further leads were found.

Investigators say Hariel was last seen with an acquaintance. The two men were traveling in the friend’s white sedan. That vehicle was later found burned in Perkinston. Investigators say the acquaintance has been interviewed and remains a person of interest, but right now, the investigation remains a missing person case.

Mississippi Bureau of Investigations and Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Parks and Fisheries were called in to help and are now assisting with the investigation.

Hariel is described as standing 5′9″ tall, weighing 170 pounds, and having brown hair and hazel eyes. Anyone with information about Hariel’s whereabouts is asked to contact Stone County Sheriff Department at 601-928-3191 or Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers at 877-787-5898.
