JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Sarah Thomas, a Mississippi native, makes NFL history by becoming the first woman to officiate in a playoff game.

Thomas worked as the down judge for the AFC divisional round matchup between the Los Angeles Chargers and New England Patriots on Sunday. She became the league’s first full-time female official in 2015.
