Very warm and moist air has moved into the area. And with very light winds, dense fog has become widespread across a large portion of southern Mississippi. Improvement in visibility is anticipated around mid-morning as slightly cooler air starts to spread into the area from the west. A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect so visibility will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving: slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. Sort of a gloomy overcast day expected with isolated light rain at times. Highs in the 60s. Mostly cloudy skies and turning cooler tonight, with lows dropping into the 40s. Weekend brings no rain. Will be sunnier Sunday than Saturday. Next week starts off pleasant with sunshine.
