JACKSON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - A St. Martin standout adds another prestigious honor to his illustrious high school career.

Yellow Jackets offensive lineman Brandon Cunningham announced on Twitter Tuesday he accepted an invitation to the first-ever World All-Star Bowl, hosted by the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Mexico City.

According to the Pro Football Hall of Fame website, this December 22 contest will bring together 80 high school seniors from the United States and abroad. Cunningham, a Mississippi State commit for the class of 2019, said in his announcement he is the lone athlete from Mississippi to receive an invitation.

This news comes on the heels of another historic invitation for the St. Martin football program, as Yellow Jackets running back Hamm McGee became the first player in program history to be named to the Mississippi / Alabama All-Star Game.
