We are finally catching a break from the rain as a strong cold front is now moving away from South Mississippi. We are going to we will see light showers and colder air. The showers will be widespread. Heavy rain is likely, and a storm or two could be strong to severe. Gusty winds will be the main threat, but a brief tornado can’t be ruled out. However, the overall severe weather risk is pretty low.
