WLOX First Alert Weather Team

Today's Forecast

Today's Forecast Image

Nice and sunny to start the week. High pressure will allow for slightly drier air across the region on Monday into Tuesday. This will give us a break from the wetter weather pattern which is much needed when you consider that this June has been one of Biloxi's wettest Junes on record. Expect typical summer afternoon heat with temperatures in the upper 80s to near 90. By midweek, that high pressure system moves off to our east. This allows southerly wind off the Gulf to bring high humidity and higher rain chances back into the forecast. Scattered thunderstorms will dot the Mississippi Gulf Coast each day Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Keep in mind that June is typically one of the wettest months of the year in this region. So, to see pop-up showers each day is usually the norm. In the tropics, no new systems are expected to form in the next five days.
