Biloxi Council Approves More Cottages

By Jeff Lawson - bio | email

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - The Biloxi City Council has cleared the way for the residents of nearly 70 Mississippi cottages to remain there as long as they wish.

Recently, the council gave its approval to cottages in four zones of the city. But that also meant any cottage outside those zones, would not be approved for permanent residency. With Tuesday's vote, any cottage, no matter where it is located, can stay.

The same requirements are still are in place. All cottage residents must either own the property the cottage is on, or it must be owned by an immediate family member.
