BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - The Goodwill store in Biloxi opened for business Monday morning to a steady flow of customers.

Goodwill sells slightly used merchandise, which is mostly clothing. Prices can be as low as $11 for a men's suit.

The former location, in downtown Biloxi was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. The new store is at 1989 Pass Road.

Goodwill executive Jim Collins told WLOX News, "If you have not been to Goodwill lately, you have not been to Goodwill."

Collins says Goodwill's mission today is the same as when it was founded more than 100 years ago - to serve the community.

The coast now has five Goodwill stores. That's the same number the area had before Hurricane Katrina hit. Goodwill also plans to open stores in Pascagoula and Bay St. Louis sometime next year.
