SLIDELL, La. (AP) - Defense contractor Northrop Grumman Corp. has started work at a new building in Slidell that will combine three current offices and add 50 new high-tech positions.
The $4 million office will combine two offices in Slidell and at the Stennis Space Center in Bay St. Louis, Miss. It will be used by 3001 International Inc., a Northrop Grumman company that does data production and analysis.
A staff of 85 will work at the building. Groundbreaking ceremonies were held Wednesday. Northrop Grumman acquired 3001 International last year.
