When you walk into the Bella Bleu Art Studio and Gallery in downtown Gulfport right now you'll see colorful, unique Christmas Ornaments.
Gallery owners Rhonda Herring and Cecily Cummings invited a collection of artists from around South Mississippi to create ornaments.
"There's nothing like handmade ornaments" says Cummings.
The gallery is turning the spotlight on Woolmarket artist Kim Searcy throughout the month of December. Searcy uses a wide variety of materials to make one of a kind pieces.
In one case she found a braille menu from a restaurant destroyed by Katrina and painted on it to use the materials texture. "Anything goes for me" says Searcy.
The Gallery calls this current display a Bleu, Bleu Christmas.
