Cannister Found In Biloxi Wasn't Hazardous

On Friday afternoon, Biloxi police had to shut down Pass Road near the Keesler Air Force Base entrance. Here's why. An unknown chemical cannister was behind a business.

While police evacuated the shops right next to gate seven, the fire department's hazardous materials team put on protective suits. Two Biloxi firemen walked toward the back of the adult books arcade.

When they reached the cannister, they realized there was no danger. The drum contained a bleach that a building tenant used to clean floors.

Pass Road reopened at 1:00.
