Sea Wolves Slice The Gladiators 7-2

BILOXI, MS - The Mississippi Sea Wolves exploded early and often taking advantage of the power play with 4 goals in 7 chances.  Federik Cabana and Mike Wirll each bagged two goals and Jason Tejchma has four assists in a 7-2 win over the Gladiators at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.

It didn't take long for the Sea Wolves to ring up their first goal, just 23 seconds when Mathieu Malanson bounced the puck off Gwinnett goaltender Charlie Effinger.  On a four-minute power play7, Jason Tejchma sent the puck to Federik Cabana and he sent the puck past Effinger at 7:33.  Mike Wirll scored at 10:56 and Alexandre Parent redirected Chris Zarb's shot through Effinger on the power play at 19:24.

At 2:55 of the second period Cabana netted his second goal giving the Sea Wolves a 5-0 lead.

After a Gwinnett goal, Mike Wirll scored his second goal of the game on a 5-on-3 power play at 16:36.

The Sea Wolves came through with another power play goal at 18:34.  Ryan Munce made 36 save in picking up the win.

The Sea Wolves are back on the home ice 7:05 Saturday night.  The first 2,000 fans will receive a Sea Wolves Howl Towel.
