KSLA News 12 exists to deliver compelling newscasts, informational and entertainment programming, that meets the needs and interests of our viewers and provides superior results in audience delivery to our advertisers.

We will work with passion, commitment and enthusiasm.
We will operate with the highest commitment to Shreveport and the Ark-La-Tex we serve.
We will provide service to our customers that is second to no other and we will develop our employees as one of our greatest resources.
We will have continuous improvement, never being satisfied.

    Loud firecrackers, ringing bells, brightly colored costumes and dancing! It was a day of celebration Saturday at the Vietnamese Martyr Catholic Church in Biloxi as people rang in the lunar new year.

    South Mississippi will see a break in the heavy rain most of Sunday afternoon as a cold front stalls over the coast. However, there will be a few off and on showers with pockets of moderate rain. Another round of showers and thunderstorms is expected again later tonight.

    Marine officials were out in Long Beach Saturday morning after discovering two dead baby dolphins on the beach there. A third baby dolphin was found dead on Ship Island on Friday.
