2 Dead After Crash In The Kiln

KILN, MS (WLOX) - A second victim in Saturday's head on collision in Hancock County has died. Hancock County Coroner Norma Stiglet says 17-year-old Steven Hoda of the Kiln died late Saturday afternoon at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport.

According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, Hoda was the driver of the 1995 Toyota pickup involved in a head on collision on Highway 603, near Hancock North Central Elementary school Saturday.

17-year-old Tanner Adam, the son of Hancock County Emergency Management Director Brian Adam, was a passenger in the truck and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle, a 2000 Chevrolet pickup, is identified only as a 17-year-old male also from the Kiln.

His injuries are described as serious, but not life threatening.
