Pascagoula Teen Killed In Car Accident

MOSS POINT, MS (WLOX) - A Pascagoula teenager died Friday night in a car accident at the corner of Saracennia Road and Kings Road in Moss Point.

Nick Woods, 16, was driving a 2006 Nissan Altima when he went off Saracennia Road and flipped. Woods was partially thrown from the car. He died at the scene shortly before midnight.

Police say he was not wearing a seat belt and was speeding at the time of the accident - two factors that may have led to his death.

Investigators say alcohol was not involved in the accident.
