Search For Boy's Body Resumes

There's still no sign of the Louisiana boy who disappeared in a riptide while swimming near the beach at Ship Island. Authorities say divers resume the search Tuesday.

The boy, 13-year-old James Kim of Baton Rouge, is believed to have drowned. He was swimming on the south side of the island, where he was visiting with his family on Saturday. Sheriff's department Lieutenant Ronnie Cox says too much time has passed to expect to find him alive.

Kim was swimming about 100 feet off the beach and some 400 feet from the designated swimming area, where seas were six to eight feet high. Cox says two swimmers at different times tried to pull the boy ashore, but waves knocked them down and caused them to lose their grip on him.
