RW Development Withdraws Legal Appeal

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - There's been another twist in the RW Development saga.

As WLOX News first reported Wednesday, RW attorneys asked both the Gaming Commission and a circuit court judge to rule the company's Veterans Avenue gaming site was legal. Thursday, the court case was dropped.

The RW group determined its appeal to the Gaming Commission was the best way to have its site approval request reconsidered.

RW Development hopes to build its billion dollar South Beach Casino Resort at the foot of Veterans Avenue and Highway 90 in Biloxi.
