Starbucks To Close Hattiesburg Location; No Coast Stores Closing

HATTIESBURG (WLOX) -- Starbucks had already announced it was closing hundreds of its stores across the United States. But now a full list of stores to be closed shows seven Mississippi stores, including one in Hattiesburg. No coast stores are on the list.

The Mississippi stores are at the following locations:

  • I-55 & Hwy 6 - 100 House-Carlson Drive, Batesville, MS
  • Lakeland & Layfair - 204 A E Layfair Drive, Flowood, MS
  • HWY 98 & Lake Forgetful - 6136 Hwy 98 W, Hattiesburg, MS
  • I-55 & Main - 1903 Main Street, Madison, MS
  • Hacks & Goodman - 7058 Hacks Cross, Olive Branch, MS
  • I-20 & Pearson - 403 Riverwind Road, Pearl, MS
  • Northpark Mall-The Mills - 1200 E County Line, Ridgeland, MS

Five locations are also closing in Mobile.

Nationwide, the coffee chain is shuttering roughly 600 company-owned stores. The Seattle, Washington-based coffeehouse chain is trying to cut some of its costs in a struggling economy.
