Registered Sex Offender Arrested in Waveland

WAVELAND (WLOX) -- A registered sex offender has found himself in hot water again after a woman said he exposed himself to her as she rode her bike.

The woman told police she was cycling in Waveland Saturday near Nicholson Avenue and Beach Boulevard when Louis Gene Remont pulled up next to her in a car and began touching himself inappropriately. The woman described the car to police and soon an officer was able to pull the driver over.

Waveland Police found pornography in Remont's car, and said he also admitted that he was just released from jail after serving time on child molestation charges.

Remont was charged with public display of sexual material. Police expect to also charge him with indecent exposure.
