Two Picayune women face charges after being accused of selling prescription drugs to undercover agents.
Barbara Davis, 53, was charged with two counts of sale of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a church and two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
Elizabeth Staples, 24, was charged with two counts of conspiracy to sell a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a church and possession.
Davis was being held Friday on $120,000 bond. Staples was freed on $10,000 bond after her arrest Wednesday.
Investigators executed a search warrant after an undercover agent purchased Xanax and Lortab from Davis' residence during the three-month investigation, Police Chief Brenda Smith said.
