Five Arrested In George County Meth Lab Raid

Five people face charges of possessing drugs and firearms after authorities raided two methamphetamine labs Wednesday night in George County.

William Darden, Tonya Darden and Misty Darden were arrested. Each face felony charges of possession of marijuana and methamphetamine with intent to distribute while in possession of a firearm.

Narcotics agent Bobby Fairly says several bags of methamphetamine, more than an ounce of marijuana, three shotguns, a rifle and a pistol were seized in the raid.

Authorities also arrested Paul Caldwell during the raid. He is charged with possession of methamphetamine, intent to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of less than and ounce of marijuana.

In a second raid, Alisha K. Goff was arrested for operating a meth lab.

    The Pascagoula Panthers open the 2017 football season on the road. In fact, their first three games are road contests. That scheduling quirk may give field turf crews just enough time to get War Memorial Stadium ready for the September 8 home opener. The wet weather in South Mississippi is placing quite the burden on construction workers as they attempt to complete stadium renovations. The project was suppose to be finished before the beginning of Pascagoula's football season.
