Eight Flags Back Up On Beach Display

The eight flags are flying again on the beach in Harrison county.

Sand Beach crews put the flags up at the Gulfport-Biloxi display early Tuesday morning. These flags have been placed under the eight American flags that have been flying since shortly after September 11th.

The confederate flag in the original display is viewed by many as a symbol of racism. Some people say if the battle flag continues to fly, it may lead to an African-Americans boycott of Mississippi.
