June 2002 Rainfall Totals

While June 2002 rainfall totals ended up near or above normal in most locations most of the rain fell in the last week of the month. South Mississippi was in a serious drought situation for most of the month. The late rainfall resulted in our drought status being upgraded a little, but we still have a rainfall deficit of more than five inches for the year.
