Rodeo Reels In Records, Fans

The last day of the 54th Mississippi Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo is now history, and as usual the final hours were full of action.

On Sunday, a 109 pound record-tying Tarpon was caught by Pass Christian's Taylor Buttersworth, and two other fish weighed at the top of their respective categories.

The 5 day event featured a record breaking Bluegill Perch, and some massive Hammerhead Sharks.

The Southern Kingfish Association also held its 4th Of July Classic during the rodeo, and most say it was also successful.
