SAUCIER (WLOX) -- Four people are dead in Saucier in what authorities say appears to be a murder-suicide. Harrison County Sheriff Melvin Brisolara called it one of the worst crime scenes he's ever witnessed.
Brisolara says deputies responded to a domestic disturbance call at a trailer on Andre Drive in Saucier around 3:20 Tuesday morning. The 911 call was from a girl saying her dad was holding a gun on her mother.
When deputies arrived, they started negotiating with the stepfather. After about an hour, they heard a gunshot and went inside.
That's where deputies found the bodies of two teenage sisters, Sherry Lee, 17, and Stacy Lee, 19, crouched in between the bathtub and toilet. Nineteen-year-old James Glass of Long Beach, identified as a boyfriend, was found shot to death in the living room.
The alleged gunman, who investigators say committed suicide has been identified as Walter Ferri, 50.
Before the shootings happened, the mother, Sonya Chapman, managed to escape through a window and run for help.
Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove said they found two guns on the scene, and at least seven shots were fired. He also said they've found no drugs or alcohol on the scene.
