Two Men Accused Of Murder Out On Bond

Police say three Gautier residents accused in the shotgun slaying of an Ocean Springs man allegedly went after the victim because he owned them money.

Two of the three suspects are free on bond. They are Michael Burbage and Timothy Lee McGillvray.

Lebarron Chatman remains in custody today in the city jail.

The three are charged with last Friday's murder of 20-year-old Anthony James, who was staying with friends in Ocean Springs. The murder was the first in Ocean Springs in four years.

Police Detective Captain Louis Miller says the shooting apparently stemmed from a $75 debt James had not repaid.
