Suspected Meth Lab Explosion Sends One Man To The Hospital

JACKSON COUNTY (WLOX) -- A Jackson County man was taken to the USA Burn Center in Mobile Thursday after an explosion at his MEMA cottage. It happened around 1:30pm at the home on Barnacle Boulevard.

Sheriff's investigators believe the fire was caused by a Meth lab explosion. There's no word on Jonathan Moses' condition.

Deputies believe a second person was also involved in the lab explosion, but ran from the scene and was missing Thursday evening. No one else was injured, and no other property was damaged.
