Family Fears The Worst In Missing Person Case

The search continues for a George County mother who disappeared a week ago.

Mary Loper, 27, was last seen by her husband and three children last Thursday night. Since then, no one has heard from Loper, and family member now say they fear the worst.

What worries family members the most, is how long Mary has gone without contacting her three boys.

"That's not Mary," Loper's sister, Glinda, said. "Mary would not leave her three kids; she loves them too much."

Neighbors have been searching the woods around Loper's home for the last two days. The George County Sheriff's Department says they have followed several leads but nothing has worked out.

The department's investigation started when the sheriff's department arrested Mary's husband Carl on drug charges last week.
