PASS CHRISTIAN (WLOX) -- It's a sign of rebuilding progress in the Pass. On Monday, the U.S. Postal Service opened its new office on Davis Avenue.
Katrina destroyed the former post office on the same site. Since Katrina, postal services have been in several trailers on Espy Avenue.
"It's like the rest of the coast, a small step forward in the progress that we've shown. We want to make sure that this is a huge stride for the Pass Christian business district and a reinforcement for our residential customers as well," Postmaster Joey Cain said.
