Barbecue Shrimp From Long Beach Lookout Restaurant

Barbecue Shrimp

Ingredients:

  • 5 lbs. shrimp, head on or off, peeled or unpeeled
  • 5 lbs. butter
  • 1/2 cup oregano
  • 1/3 cup dried basil
  • 1 cup rosemary
  • 1/2 cup thyme
  • 1 cup bay leaves
  • 1/2 cup cracked black pepper
  • 2 tbsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 cups fresh minced garlic
  • 6 cups Lea & Perrins
  • 1 cup fresh chopped parsley
  • 3 cups white wine
  • 6 cups beer
  • 2 bunches green onion

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in bowl.  Melt butter slowly and then bring pot to boil and turn heat off.  Remove and stir while placing in separate containers.
