Police Warn About Counterfeit Bills

The Bay St. Louis Police Department is warning business owners to be on the lookout for counterfeit money.

Police say fake 10, 20, and 100 dollar bills are being passed around town primarily at fast food restaurants.

They say the bogus money began surfacing about two months ago. So far they've had $500 in counterfeit bills turned into them.

Police say people should look for bills that have a green tint all over them, and if they see this they should contact police.
