Pot, Crack, AK47 & Cash Confiscated In Hancock County Bust

The Hancock County Narcotics Task Force says it has put one of the County's biggest drug dealers out of business. Eric "Skip" Jarvis, 51, was arrested late Friday afternoon after narcotics agents searched his property on 10th Street in the Pearlington Community.

Authorities say they confiscated more than six pounds of marijuana, worth almost $6,000 on the street. They also confiscated more than two pounds of powdered and crack cocaine during the search of a Katrina cottage and two FEMA trailers on the property.

Along with the illegal drugs, authorities say they found five guns, including an AK47 assault weapon and around $26,000 in cash.

Jarvis is being held at the Pearl River County Jail awaiting a bond hearing.
