Sherry's Stuffed Crabs
Kelley's Seafood Market
- 1 lb of crab meat
- 1 celery stalk
- 2 bell peppers
- 2 onions
- 1 bunch of green onions
- 3 slices of bread
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup of Italian bread crumbs
- 2 to 3 dozen crab shells
- 1 stick of butter your favorite seasonings
Use food processor to finely chop seasonings. Saute in large pan with melted stick of butter (approx. 40 min). Use your favorite dry seasoning as you saute.
Go through crab meat for shells! (I pick out my own crab meat) Claw meat tastes as good as the white in this recipe, but does not present as well.
Put the egg and milk with more seasonings in a large bowl. Add the bread. Use fork to break the bread down. Add crumbs. Put all ingredients together. Scoop into shells and bake for bake for approx. 40 min. on 350 degrees.
