Ocean Springs Businessmen Offer Reward Money for Arson Arrest

Ocean Springs businessmen, Tom and Tim Reynolds of  Allstate Insurance, are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the arsonist responsible for the recent fire that destroyed the Hanley Road Toddler's Park, located at Pecan Park Elementary School.

Anyone with information about the crime should contact the Ocean Springs Police Department, Police Investigations at 228-875-2211.

"We and the Allstate Foundation deeply regret what happened at the park that was built less than a year ago; that's why we are offering this reward money for the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for this crime," said Tom Reynolds.

The building of the playground for the elementary school was completed in August of this year through a partnership with the Allstate Foundation, the Injury Free Coalition for Kids, local volunteers, the City of Ocean Springs and the Ocean Springs School District.

On the evening of December 10, the Ocean Springs Fire Department and Police Departments received a call from a local resident who reported seeing flames coming from the playground.
