Biloxi ID's Murder Suspects In The Isle Of Capri Shooting

Biloxi police spent the weekend in Louisiana. That's where they say they conducted interviews and found the two people they believe murdered Jim Johnson II.

Johnson was the 49 year old Arkansas golfer who got gunned down in his Isle of Capri hotel room Thursday morning.

Investigators have confirmed that the prime suspects in his shooting death are a male and a female from Louisiana. But they won't release their names until murder charges are filed.  They're also remaining mum on the motive behind the shooting.

Mr. Johnson was on a golf trip in Biloxi last week with a group playing in the Duffers Cup Classic.  When he didn't show up at his car for this Thursday morning tee time, Isle security went to his room, and found his body.  Two gunshots were fired in his abdomen.

Johnson's funeral is Tuesday morning in Hot Springs, Arkansas.  The honorary pallbearers are the men who were in Biloxi with him for the golf outing.
