The state College Board revealed the names of the finalists Thursday.
They are Stan Albrecht, vice president and provost of Utah State University; Ann Weaver Hart, provost and vice president of academic affairs at Claremont Graduate University in Claremont. Calif.; Terry Hickey, senior vice president and provost at the University of Akron; and Shelby Thames, of Hattiesburg, a polymer researcher and professor at USM.
