Moss Point Man Dies At Pascagoula Shipyard

A Moss Point man died Wednesday afternoon at Signal International. Michael Bodden had been working at the Pascagoula company for two weeks as an electrician.

Though a company spokesperson could not say exactly what happened, Jackson County Coroner Vicki Brodaus told WLOX News there were no signs of foul play or injury.

Bodden had been working in the Pump Room of the Dry Dock inside a narrow space and had to be cut out, which took some time.

An autopsy will be done to determine the cause of death. The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration will also investigate, because the death happened at a workplace.
