Street Light Replacement Project Begins In Gulfport

Good news for drivers who use Highway 90 in Gulfport. Work has begun on the long-awaited street light replacement project.

Crews were busy Friday preparing the area around Highways 90 and 49. Dozens of new, decorative lights will be installed along the busy beach front highway, from Lewis Avenue to Debuys Road.

B&B Electrical is the contractor on the job. The project is expected to be finished by this winter.
