Arts Camp Gives Teenagers the Chance to Learn From Broadway Stars

Mississippi teenagers will get the chance to train as Broadway stars this summer. Faculty from Delta State University were in Long Beach holding auditions for the Mississippi Summer Art program this weekend. They were looking for children ages 12 to 17 to participate in the summer camp. They say they want people with talent as well as personality.

This June, campers will be in workshops to enhance their dance, theatre, music, and creative writing skills. Some of the classes will be taught by professional Broadway artists. There will be two more auditions on April 20th and 21st at Delta State. Tuition is free for students in Mississippi. For more information visit
