Escatawpa Firefighters Receive Jaws Of Life Donation

Volunteer firefighters in Escatawpa received a much needed donation Monday that could save lives.

Sunday night, Keli Rabon reported on concerns within the fire department about old and defective equipment. Well, on Monday, Chief Dave Ellspermann from Bayside Fire Department in Hancock County donated a jaws of life set to the volunteers.

It was perfect timing for both departments. Bayside just got a new set of jaws from Homeland Security.

The Escatawpa Fire Department is still in need of several pieces of life-saving equipment. They're funded primarily by donations. If you'd like to help, give them a call at (228) 475-2912.
