Boxer Camacho Sentenced To One Year Under House Arrest

The boxer Hector "Macho" Camacho could have spent seven years in prison for burglary. Instead, a Harrison County judge ordered Camacho to spend a year under house arrest.

According to prosecutors, the former boxer has permission to serve that sentence in Puerto Rico.

Camacho got into trouble more than two years ago when he fell through the ceiling of a Gulfport computer shop while trying to retrieve his personal computer. In an interview shortly after his arrest, Camacho admitted he was drunk when he illegally entered the Courthouse Road business.
