Neighborhood Watch Leads To 14 Prostitution Arrests

Gulfport Police went after suspected prostitutes this week. As a result of the crackdown, 14 women went to jail.

Police tell WLOX News that many of the suspected prostitutes used the money they made to support drug habits. Thirteen of the 14 people nabbed in the citywide sting are from Gulfport. One woman lives in Saucier.

Police say they heard about the prostitution allegations from citizens who attended neighborhood watch meetings.
