Apartment Fire Displaces 13 Biloxi Families

An early morning fire at a Biloxi Apartment complex forced residents to evacuate Thursday. The fire department received a call just about midnight that Fox's apartments on Beauvoir Road was in flames.

The fire was mostly contained to one apartment, however several neighboring units did get smoke and water damage. Due to the large amount of damage, the fire department says the cause will most likely be undetermined. However, they do say there is no indication it was intentionally started.

Fortunately, there were no injuries. The American Red Cross housed 13 families overnight who were displaced after the fire. The agency also provided them some financial assistance for food and clothing.
