The Waveland Fire Department is continuing to get help with its hurricane recovery. Monday in Las Vegas, Fire Chief David Garcia accepted a $36,000 grant.
The grant comes from Apollo General Insurance and Fireman's Fund Insurance Company. Officials say the money will help replace equipment destroyed in Katrina, and will include a new jaws of life.
