People Celebrate "Hop To The Vieux" In Biloxi

From flowers to picnics in the park, spring is finally here. A great way to celebrate the season is at the annual Hop to the Vieux at Biloxi's town green. People came out from all around the Coast to celebrate the event. "This is a great way to kick off the day," says Kay Miller, an organizer.  "They' ve got the big tall slide for the kids and that's what she wants to go back to, she loves it. And then the jumping trampoline thing and the games," says Kimberly Scott. There was  plenty of games and plenty of food.

This year's arts and crafts festival featured the first ever grilling on the green. Several local cooks showed up to show off their grilling skills. "This brings the spirit of the community back and gets everybody out and helps with that rebuilding process," says Mike Callecod. There was also lots of arts and crafts. "We've been planning this for several months now. And it looks like all the hard work finally paid off, says Kay Miller.
