Mississippi Sea Wolves Winning Despite A Lack Of Skaters

The Mississippi Sea Wolves have made an impact over the past two weeks, overcoming a shorthanded lineup with excellent play in front of the net. Goalie's Evan Lindsay and Colin Zulianello have excelled making super stops. Their play has been a major factor in the Sea Wolves running off four straight wins.

Right Wing Steffon Walby, the Sea Wolves leading scorer, remains day-to-day. The team captain and assistant coach is still suffering from post-concussion syndrome suffered in last week's win over Peoria. Michael Ryder and Jerome Marois remain on recall to Quebec while Ryan Lauzon remains in Springfield. However, the Sea Wolves have binded together overcoming the odds and the opposition.

Bob Woods says, "We're definitely a tight group. We have a good group of guys here who are fighting for the same thing, fight for each other. We've really grown close together and I see a lot of good things."

After 39games the Sea Wolves have improved to 21 wins and 18 losses.. netting 42 points, tied for 6th place with Baton Rouge in the Southwest Division, only 8 points out of second place. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The Sea Wolves game plan has worked to perfection and they'll try and notch another win tonight in the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.
