Infertility Risk Survey

A new survey shows many women don't know enough about their reproductive cycle. Almost 90 percent of respondents overestimated the age at which fertility begins to decline.....which is 27 years old.  It also showed only one woman out of twelve thousand questioned on basic fertility facts, answered all the questions correctly.  More than a quarter of the respondents said the risk of infertility is one in fifty.  It's actually one in ten.

Researchers say the misunderstanding of the biological clock can lead women to postpone childbearing and experience difficulty conceiving. The survey was conducted by the American Infertility Association.
