The Gulf Coast Garden and Patio Show returns to Biloxi February 23 through the 25th. Everything you need to add a little color or design to your landscaping will be on display during this year's show.
More than 80 exhibitors spent the day Thursday setting up for the return of the Gulf Coast Garden and Patio Show. Many of them are happy to be back on the coast, after taking a year off after Katrina. Last year's show was held in Hattiesburg.
"With everything that went on with the hurricane, our hearts went out to everybody down here; and you know, I have a lot of customers down here that come to the show to see us. So, we're thrilled to be back," says Lori Hitchcock, owner of Natchez Trace Gardens in Kosciusko, Mississippi.
Lori has participated in the Garden and Patio show for several years now, but knows this year is especially important for coast residents.
She says, "We need a lot more green. People need shrubs and trees to replace their yards and stuff, and this is the place to be."
The Garden and Patio show runs February 23, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., February 24 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and February 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Coast Coliseum Convention Center in Biloxi. Admission is $8 for adults, and free for children under 10.
