Teen Held On $500,000 Bond For Shooting For Kyle Todd

Joseph Goff, 18, of Gautier is being held on $500,000 bond for the fatal shooting of Kyle Todd, his former classmate from Gautier High school.

Goff made his first court appearance on Friday. Investigators told the judge Goff has had a troubled family life, and for both the public's safety, as well as his own, he should remain in custody.

The case could go before a grand jury next month, although it will likely be later in the year.

Goff is accused of shooting 18-year-old Kyle Todd early Sunday morning in his home. Sheriff Mike Byrd says he doesn't expect any more arrests in this case.
