Bay Police Chief To Retire In February

Bay St. Louis will soon be looking for a new Police Chief. Chief Frank McNeil announced he will retire in February.

McNeil served as chief for 15 years. But has been in law enforcement for 42 years.

McNeil says during his tenure in the Bay, he's been able to significantly reduce the illegal drug dealing problem in the city. He says bringing technology to the Police Department and helping mold a professional staff are some of his other notable accomplishments.

McNeil says he plans to do a lot of hunting and fishing and spend time with his grandkids once he steps down.
